Great to meet you!

I have 20 years of experience providing compassionate psychotherapy to individuals facing complex challenges. I love my work and I am grateful to do it. This gratitude fuels my dedication to helping clients create lasting change and to continuously developing my skills. I help clients with a range of concerns, including:

  • Relationship and family dynamics
  • Depression and anxiety management
  • Grief, loss, and life transitions
  • Processing and healing from trauma

My approach to therapy

I believe each person is unique and complex, with their own strengths, challenges, and contradictions. My aim is to offer a welcoming, compassionate space enabling you to bring all parts of yourself to promote healing and lasting positive change. My therapeutic approach integrates body awareness, specific, evidence-based techniques, and traditional talk therapy. I primarily use the following specialized modalities: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): helps the brain process and resolve distressing memories that lead to negative beliefs about yourself or the world enabling you to develop a more realistic and positive view of yourself. Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF): helps you address and resolve internal conflicts, allowing you to quiet the noise of your inner critic, get unstuck and access a deep well of self-compassion. Somatic Experiencing (SE): teaches you to track physical sensations, build your capacity for self-regulation,and move away from automatic, reactive states.

What you can expect from me

I will begin by truly listening to your concerns and striving to see the world from your unique perspective.

Together, we'll explore how past experiences may be shaping your current thoughts, feelings, and relationships. We will identify what is going well in your life and what you most want to change. Finally, I will recommend the best-suited therapeutic approaches to bring about personalized and lasting change.
