Great to meet you!

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling from Oakland University, earned in 2008. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals through a wide range of life experiences—both in the therapy field and in roles that focus on adult learning and personal growth.

My passion is helping men and women navigate life’s transitions with confidence and clarity. Whether you’re facing a career change, adjusting to a new chapter in life, or simply feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed, I’m here to support you.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. Together, we’ll work toward understanding your challenges, rediscovering your strengths, and creating a path that feels both meaningful and sustainable.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward feeling more grounded, confident, and hopeful about your future, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.

My approach to therapy

My Approach to Therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you and I work together to explore challenges, uncover strengths, and create practical strategies for change. My approach is client-centered, meaning I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment, and tailor our work to fit your unique needs.

I often draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help shift unhelpful thought patterns, Solution-Focused Therapy to identify actionable steps forward, and Mindfulness techniques to build self-awareness and reduce stress. My style is warm, encouraging, and goal-oriented—rooted in the belief that growth is possible at any stage of life.

I also understand that life transitions can stir up feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, or loss of identity. Whether you’re navigating a career change, relationship shift, or personal growth journey, my role is to provide a safe, supportive space for you to process and move forward with confidence.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped with practical tools to handle life’s challenges. Over time, you can expect to:

  • Gain Clarity & Confidence – Understand what’s holding you back and build confidence to move forward.
  • Develop Practical Coping Skills – Learn strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm in everyday life.
  • Feel More Grounded – Shift from feeling stuck or uncertain to feeling more in control of your path.
  • Create Sustainable Change – Build habits and perspectives that support long-term well-being and personal growth.
  • Rediscover Your Strengths – Tap into the resilience and resources you already have to navigate transitions with ease.

Therapy is a journey—and you don’t have to do it alone. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, practical tools, and encouragement every step of the way.
