I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 20 years. Some of my speciaIties include working with clients who are transitioning and grieving as they enter another stage in their life, as well as Addiction, LGBTQIA, Disordered Eating, and I work with clients ages 12 and up. I look forward to us working together.
My style is dependent on who is sitting in front of me. When working with clients struggling with Addiction, I can be very direct. I am also warm, affirming and will sometimes challenge you.
Our first visit includes me learning about you and your goals. I always tell my clients if I ask a question you do not want to answer, please tell me. Honesty in the counseling process, allows you to be true to yourself.
