Great to meet you!

🌄 A Tale of Two States: From Colorado to Texas

I'm a proud product of two distinct states: I spent my formative years growing up in Colorado before a major shift landed me in Pflugerville, Texas, as a high school junior.

That move—especially navigating a new culture and community during those challenging teenage years—was a profound adjustment period. It was this early, personal experience with transition and change that fundamentally shaped my path and inspired me to choose counseling as my career. Now, I carry the influence of both states with me.

My approach to therapy

🤝 Your Journey Starts Here

My goal is simple: to create a caring, compassionate, and supportive environment where you feel safe and comfortable discussing your most important issues.

I deeply respect your inner resources and your inherent ability to move toward growth and wholeness. I don't just guide you; I partner with you. Together, we'll discover and mobilize your hidden strengths using a custom-tailored approach designed to fit your unique needs and help you reach your goals. During our first sessions, we'll collaborate on a personalized treatment plan and set clear goals for our work. Grief and Loss, Divorce recovery, infertility, work related issues, social isolation, bullied as a child, introversion, life transitions, parent/child relationships, new to the metroplex, dating, codependency.

Specialized EMDR Focus

Do you ever find yourself thinking, "I know I shouldn't feel or think this way, but I just do?" This is often a sign that past experiences are influencing the present. If that resonates, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy may be the treatment approach for you. As a multi-modal approach, EMDR addresses not just your thoughts and feelings, but the underlying images and physical sensations associated with distress. (You can learn more at EMDRIA.org).

What you can expect from me

We will work together to create a treatment plan that works for you. I suggest scheduling 3 weekly sessions to see if we are a good fit. We can decide on the frequency of sessions after that time.
