Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in education and school-based mental health, as well as experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. I work with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions, using an individualized and collaborative approach. My training at Pacifica Graduate Institute informs my interest in depth-oriented and Jungian perspectives, which I incorporate when they are helpful to the client. I strive to create a warm, thoughtful space where clients feel understood, respected, and supported. I welcome and affirm LGBTQ+ clients and have experience working with individuals across the LGBTQ+ community. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you can bring your whole self.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, compassionate approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are and tailoring our work to their individual needs and goals. I help clients understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and behavior while also developing practical strategies for creating meaningful change. My approach is informed by depth-oriented and Jungian perspectives, which I incorporate when they are helpful and appropriate. I believe therapy should provide both a safe place for reflection and a path toward greater understanding, resilience, and choice. I firmly each client is the expert in their own life. My job is to help you find a path forward that is reflective of your values.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I’ll take some time to understand your past experiences with therapy, including what has and hasn’t been helpful for you. I’ll explain my approach to therapy and invite you to share what brought you in and what you hope to accomplish. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals for our work and create a comfortable, collaborative foundation for therapy.
