Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and you do not have to navigate it alone. Over my 27 years in practice as a clinical social worker, I have found profound meaning in helping individuals, couples, and families find solid ground when the world feels heavy. Earning your trust is a privilege I hold deeply, and I am committed to establishing a safe, supportive foundation where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to manage life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity. My educational journey began at Le Moyne College and continued through my Master’s Degree at Syracuse University. Today, I work with teenagers, college students, and adults facing a variety of concerns, including stress, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, relationship issues, emotional regulation, and life transitions. Together, we can identify practical coping strategies and build tools that support lasting growth and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I believe that genuine emotional growth happens when we blend clinical expertise with a deeply personal, authentic connection. I am highly practical and skills-oriented, focusing heavily on emotional regulation and self-awareness to help you change patterns rather than only analyzing the past. Because I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, I can seamlessly incorporate strengths-based practices, anger management, and parenting skills training to tailor our treatment to your unique needs and goals. By remaining structured, goal-focused, and measurable, I am deeply interested in teaching you tangible tools you can use outside of sessions. I look forward to supporting you in creating meaningful, positive change in a way that feels sustainable for your life.

What you can expect from me

Reaching out for help takes courage, and my hope is that our time acts as a quiet refuge where you can step away from the heavy demands of your daily life right from the start. During a first therapy session, clients can usually expect a mix of conversation, assessment, and goal-setting within a calm, non-judgmental environment. We will use this initial hour to explore your history, symptoms, and client-centered goals at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to have everything figured out at once. Because I know how busy life gets, I offer evening and weekend appointments and will always do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs. I look forward to meeting you and ensuring that our work together fits seamlessly into your life.
