Great to meet you!

Welcome!

As a licensed professional counselor, I understand it can be scary reaching out for help. Congratulations on taking this first step! I am here to support and work with you to achieve a healthier and more peaceful life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In therapy, I take on an eclectic approach, tailoring my methods to the unique needs of each individual. By carefully assessing the situation, I determine which therapeutic model will be most effective for you. My approach combines elements from both traditional and modern modalities, with a strong emphasis on the importance of human connection, empathy, and understanding behaviors.

What you can expect from our first session

During the first session, you will be encouraged to share your life story and goals for therapy. We will figure out together how to best help you achieve those goals. This may include changing negative thinking patterns to help decrease depression or learning strategies such as mindfulness techniques to cope with past trauma and decrease anxiety. I believe in being solution focused to treatment and many of my clients report they feel better after their first session.
