Great to meet you!

Your experiences may have shaped your story, but they do not have to define who you are or who you can become. Throughout my professional career, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals, families, parents, educators, and professionals from many different backgrounds and walks of life. With over 10 years of experience, I have supported adults through domestic violence, sexual assault crisis services, special education, and supporting families through life's challenges. I work with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family conflict, stress, emotional overwhelm, parenting concerns, and major life transitions. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the complexities of human behavior, relationships, and the circumstances that shape our lives. I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and respected, regardless of what they have been through. My goal is to help you recognize your strengths, better understand your experiences, and move toward a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in a genuine desire to help people feel understood and supported. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not a formal interview or a place where you have to say all the right things. I look at the bigger picture of your life, including your relationships, family dynamics, personal experiences, and the patterns that may be affecting how you feel today. Together, we can explore what has shaped you, identify strengths you may not recognize in yourself, and develop healthier ways to navigate challenges. My style is warm, thoughtful, and down-to-earth. I believe meaningful change begins when you feel comfortable being yourself, and I want our work to be a place where you can reflect, grow, and discover new possibilities without judgment.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you are unsure what to say or where to begin. I want you to know that our first session is simply an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what life looks like for you right now, and what you hope to gain from our time together. There is no pressure to share everything at once, and you will always have a say in what we discuss and the pace we move. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation rather than an interview, so you can expect a relaxed, welcoming space where your questions, thoughts, and experiences are valued. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, comfortable, and encouraged about the possibilities ahead.
