Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families through some of life’s most challenging moments. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you are already carrying a great deal. My goal is to offer a calm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and feel understood. Together, we will explore what feels stuck, identify what matters most to you, and work toward coping strategies that feel realistic and meaningful.

My approach to therapy

I bring over two decades of clinical experience working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, chronic and terminal illness, anticipatory grief, bereavement, and adjustment to a “new normal.” My work is grounded in a strengths-based perspective and informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I believe clients are the experts in their own lives, and therapy is most effective when it builds on existing resilience while creating space for healing and growth.

I strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of meaningful change. My role is to walk alongside you, help clarify your goals, and support you in developing a treatment plan that addresses your unique challenges with compassion and respect.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is focused on getting to know you—your story, what has brought you to therapy, and what you hope might feel different with support. We will discuss your current concerns, begin identifying goals, and talk about how we can work together in a way that feels safe and manageable. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready for; we will move at your pace.
