Great to meet you!

I am a LMFT. I chose a career in mental health because I am deeply inspired by the strength and resilience of people working to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. My approach is rooted in compassion, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to move toward their highest level of functioning. I specialize in the treatment of drug and alcohol addictions, trauma, eating disorders, and co-occurring disorders. Each person is treated as an individual and has a treatment plan carefully planned out to meet that person's individual requirements. Together, we can navigate the complexities of life and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I use CBT, Narrative, Gestalt, Person-centered therapy, meditation, and relaxation. Each session is based on the client's individual needs at that point in time. We, as collaborators, figure out what is best needed in the moment while practicing grounding techniques using affirmations and gratitudes

What you can expect from me

I ask everyone what they would like to accomplish on the first day that we meet, and reassess this throughout our time during therapy. I will do a psych/social history intake with them, and they can tell me their story and emphasize parts of their life that are important to them. We will also form a relationship and a way to bond during the first session. Pts will be given a sense of safety, know the confidentiality rules, and when they are broken, infrequently. We will also brief on office policies and set up future and ongoing appointments.
