Great to meet you!

I have over a decade of experience in the Mental Health field with a substantial history in substance use counseling, working with individuals who were incarcerated. Females with co-occurring disorders in a controlled environment. I moved to working with an exclusive male population, where I assisted them to gain skills to overcome life's difficulties. As I, myself, gained skills and knowledge I moved into working with those within my community seeking services. I helped people seeking individual services as well as leading group counseling sessions which has always been a part of my therapeutic styles.

Working with competency restoration, probation and parolees gave me a guided sense of purpose and a knowledge of the law.

I have also worked with trauma informed care, military and those seeking a better way of life. I have worked with individuals within the TDCJ system. In my journey I have worked with those that deal with unforeseen life challenges, whether through a life choice or an unimaginable circumstance. My focus has always been on helping.

My approach to therapy

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has been working in the mental health field since 2011. Over the years, I’ve learned that the best therapy happens when we value your time, ask the right questions, and view your well-being through a holistic lens.

My counseling style is solution-focused, highly collaborative, and seasoned with a splash of humor. I am passionate about empowering my clients to make positive, intentional choices. Together, we will map out clear short- and long-term goals for your therapy journey and your life. If you’re ready to take charge of your future with a counselor who is as invested in your progress as you are, let's connect.

What you can expect from me

My approach is grounded, open-minded, and deeply respectful of time. I believe that therapy shouldn't feel like a rigid lecture; instead, I bring an inquisitive, holistic, and solution-focused style to every session.
