Great to meet you!
Welcome to my practice! I am a licensed psychologist and neuropsychologist with 30 years of experience helping adults and older adults make positive changes in their lives. I completed my internship at the VA Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, and a post doctoral fellowship in how brain health affects thinking, emotions and behavior at San Francisco General Hospital. Over the course of my career I've worked across a range of medical and mental health settings, including the past 6 years in the Primary Care Mental Health Integration program at the VA Medical Center in Spokane, where I provided therapy alongside medical teams.
I specialize in helping clients work through depression, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, and relationship challenges. I also have advanced training in helping people navigate the emotional and practical impact of complex medical, neurological and health-related conditions. That includes adjusting to acute and chronic illness or disability, improving sleep, managing chronic pain, coping with changes after traumatic brain injury, reducing caregiver stress, weight management and changing tobacco use.
When I'm not working you'll find me reading fiction - I have rarely found a short story I did not like! And when I’m not reading I'm out running, or on the trail doing endurance rides on my horse.
