I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1997 with a BA in Psychology from York College, CUNY and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. My treatment specialties are anxiety and depression, bereavement and grief, advanced illness, adjustment disorders. I draw from multiple theories depending on the presenting problems, utilizing the Developmental Theory Perspective, the Family Life Cycle, the Psychodynamic Theory and the Psychosocial Development Theory

A bit about my approach to therapy

My practice model approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to explore and develop client strengths into measurable goals. I have worked with diverse populations from different ethnic groups and socioeconomic statuses and have been credited with interfacing effectively with people of all backgrounds. I start where you are and help you to end up where you want to be. I will work as hard as the client is willing to.
