Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! I’m Lisa Johnson, a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about helping women, children, and teenagers navigate life’s challenges. I work with clients navigating anxiety, relationships, grief and loss, parenting, life transitions, emotional challenges, and other life concerns. Clients often come to counseling feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply needing a safe and supportive place to process what they are experiencing. I believe our experiences shape how we cope, relate to others, and navigate life. Together, we can explore these patterns and what feels most helpful moving forward.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach to counseling, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, person-centered and strengths-based approaches, and play therapy-informed techniques with children. For clients who desire it, Christian faith can also be thoughtfully incorporated

What you can expect from me

My style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. Reaching out for counseling can feel like a big step, and finding someone you feel comfortable with matters. We’ll begin with an introductory session where you can share your story, discuss what brings you to counseling, and explore how we can best work together. It is truly an honor to walk alongside my clients.
