Lisa received her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in Sociology from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and her master’s degree in social work from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. During Her professional journey Lisa has worked in various settings including case management for individuals with intellectual disabilities, she is a certified school social worker and has worked in the school setting with grades K-8th and has also worked community health programs with an emphasis on mental health.

My approach to therapy

Lisa specializes in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, anger management, ADHD, emotion regulation, social skills, and skill development to meet the diverse needs of her clients. She utilizes a wide range of evidence based therapeutic techniques to meet these needs including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and play therapy.

My aim is to walk along side and be an advocate for children and adolescents find their true voice, learn new behaviors and learning to better understand themselves.
