Great to meet you!

Are you navigating a major life transition? Whether you're starting college, making a career change, becoming a parent, or watching your teen grow into someone you barely recognize, these shifts are hard! Maybe you’re seeing your child struggle with big emotions and behavior in school, or your preteen is battling anxiety and feelings of not belonging. If this resonates, please take a deep breath...you are in the right place. We ALL struggle, and seeking support is a profound act of strength and resilience. Take that step! As a counselor with 20 years of experience, I would love to listen and guide you towards reaching your goals.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, because people aren’t one-size-fits-all. I blend Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based counseling, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), humanistic therapy, and Play and Art therapy when working with children (or playful adults!) I’ll meet you where you are with warmth, curiosity, and zero judgment.

What you can expect from me

As we build a relationship, you can expect a supportive, down-to-earth space where you can be yourself with no pressure— we are all human and trying our best! Each session we will work together to help you better understand what you're feeling, why it’s happening, and how to handle it without losing your mind (hopefully with some humor as self-work requires moments of levity and grace!) With kids, I use play therapy and creative activities to help them express big feelings and learn coping skills and better self-regulation. Teens and adults leave with practical tools such as ways to catch and challenge cognitive distortions that drive anxiety, effective coping techniques to manage stress and big emotions, and self-reflection methods to navigate identity exploration or life changes. My goal is for you to feel more grounded, empowered, in control, and with the increased self-confidence and self-compassion you deserve.
