Great to meet you!

I work with people whose lives are changing. They are not afraid to get creative with their therapy. . They want a mental health professional who will work with them to achieve balance. They might be dealing with college, or finishing high school. They might be figuring out a job or relationship. They want to understand why things hurt so badly or why they are so anxious. My education, training and experience comes to work for them.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Because I am trained as a Creative Arts Therapist, I offer clients the opportunity to explore their thoughts and beliefs; beyond what words can describe. I bring techniques from IFS, CBT and Motivational Interviewing to the session. That means I ask good questions. We look into what has hurt you and held you back. We find better ways to deal with problems. I bring experiences as an artist, teacher, manager, daughter, sister, partner, friend and worker into the therapeutic experience.

What you can expect from our first session

As a result of working with me, clients move into healthier thinking. They are heard with care, and acceptance. Their creativity is engaged as they fashion the balanced lives they want. They are calmed—or challenged, but face and move past the concerns which block them.
