1. In our first session, my priority is to create a supportive, inclusive space where you feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely heard. We’ll take time to talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the process, and any concerns or questions you may have. There is no pressure to share more than you’re ready for—this session is about building trust and setting a foundation for our work together.
I’ll also ask about your strengths, your lived experiences, and the goals that matter most to you. This helps me tailor our sessions to your unique needs and ensures that the care you receive is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‐based practices.
By the end of our first meeting, you can expect to have a clearer sense of how we’ll work together, what support looks like moving forward, and how therapy can help you build resilience, navigate challenges, and move toward long‐term personal success.
