Great to meet you!

Life can often feel overwhelming, especially following the loss of a loved one or a traumatic event that disrupts your sense of safety and meaning. Experiences of feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected from yourself and others can stem from unresolved grief, guilt, shame, or complex family and relational dynamics. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Trauma Professional, and Experienced Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500), I support individuals and couples in healing from grief, trauma, life transitions and relationship challenges using holistic and evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, compassionate mindfulness, and the Gottman Method, as a Level 2 trained couple therapist. My work is also informed by personal experiences of profound loss of a child, prenatal loss, parenting six sons, and sustaining a long-term marriage, which bring depth and empathy to my clinical practice.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in authenticity. Together, we’ll explore the experiences that shape your inner world and create space for healing, growth, and renewed connection. My goal is to help you cultivate emotional balance, strengthen relationships, and build a life rooted in meaning and resilience.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you’ll have the chance to share your story and what you hope to gain from therapy in a supportive, experienced, judgment-free space. We’ll start to outline a path that reflects what matters most to you personally and as a couple. My intention is to create a warm, welcoming environment where you feel comfortable and safe opening up as you begin this process of understanding and growth.
