Great to meet you!

I'm Lisa, and I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and stress — often high-achievers, professionals, and caregivers who look like they have it together but feel overwhelmed or disconnected underneath. I also have a lot of experience with perfectionism, low self-esteem, self-sabotage, trauma, attachment wounds, and unhealthy relational or generational patterns. With over 15 years in the mental health field across clinical and leadership roles, I've learned that you don't need to have it all figured out before you start therapy — you can come exactly as you are, and we'll build from there. People tend to describe me as warm, honest, and easy to talk to, with a good sense of humor mixed in.

My approach to therapy

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I draw mainly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a strengths-based approach, blending in DBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and psychoeducation depending on what actually helps you. Sessions are collaborative — I'll validate and support you, but I'll also gently challenge the patterns that keep you stuck, so you leave with real tools and honest feedback, not just an hour of talking. Together we work on things like building healthier boundaries, improving communication, strengthening relationships, and understanding the patterns running in the background of your life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other — what's bringing you to therapy, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping feels different. There's no pressure to have it all figured out or explain everything perfectly. I'll ask questions to understand your story and start noticing patterns worth exploring, and you'll get a feel for how I work: conversational, honest, and collaborative. By the end, you should walk away with a sense of direction and feel more grounded, not more overwhelmed.
