Great to meet you!

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood. As both a therapist and Air Force veteran, I value authenticity, resilience, and the importance of genuine human connection. Clients often describe me as approachable, thoughtful, and direct when needed. I strive to create a space where you can show up as you are and feel supported as you work toward your goals.

I work with adults and older teens navigating addiction, trauma, co-occurring mental health concerns, and life transitions. I am experienced in supporting veterans, first responders, and those impacted by a loved one's substance use. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, my goal is to help you better understand your experiences and move forward with greater confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered while grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs and goals.

I balance compassion with practical tools and honest conversation. Together, we'll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, identify strengths you can build upon, and develop strategies that support meaningful and lasting change. I believe therapy should not only provide insight, but also equip you with skills you can use in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We'll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from the process. I'll ask questions about your background, current concerns, and any relevant experiences that may help me better understand your story.

Most importantly, the first session is a chance for you to determine whether I feel like a good fit for you. You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin. My goal is to create a comfortable, collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to take the next step forward.
