Great to meet you!

  • I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of clinical experience dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s most difficult challenges and rediscover strength, resilience, and purpose. As a senior clinician, I bring decades of experience, compassion, and practical insight to my work with clients.
  • My professional journey is deeply shaped by both training and lived experience. I proudly served in the United States Army Reserve, retiring with the rank of Major and gaining valuable overseas experience during my service. Because of my military background, I have a deep understanding of the unique stressors faced by Veterans, Service Members , and their families. Supporting those who have served and their families remains a meaningful part of my work.
  • I am also a cancer survivor. Walking through that journey personally has given me a profound appreciation for the emotional, physical, and psychological challenges that accompany diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. I am passionate about supporting individuals who are navigating cancer treatment or adjusting to life after cancer, offering a space where they feel understood and supported.
  • In addition to these areas, I specialize in the treatment of problem gambling and gambling-related harm. I am an Internationally Certified Gambling Counselor -Level II through the International Gambling Counselor Certification Board and serve as a Board Approved Clinical Consultant (BACC). I work with individuals struggling with gambling addiction as well as family members and loved ones affected by the impact of gambling. My goal is simple: to help you live your best life now—no matter what challenges you may be facing. Let’s get your journey to living your best life started today!

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a collaborative, empowering space where you are supported, seen, and championed. I believe every person carries strengths that deserve to be recognized and amplified, and my role is to help you uncover those strengths with clarity and confidence. I work as your advocate—someone who stands beside you as you explore new possibilities, challenge old patterns, and build a life that feels more aligned with your values.

Clients often describe me as both grounding and encouraging. I offer practical guidance, honest reflection, and steady support, while also celebrating your progress and reminding you of your capacity to grow. Whether you’re navigating relationships, identity, stress, or major life transitions, I’m here to help you strengthen your voice, trust your instincts, and move forward with greater self‐assurance.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm and friendly clinician to work with, who will be gathering information and working with you to formulate your initial treatment plan at the end of the first intake appointment. Clients will have full knowledge of my skills and abilities and expertise to help them navigate their individual challenges, frequency of sessions recommended, and first steps on their journey toward increased wellness. They may even get homework to gain some baseline data necessary to formulate the complete treatment plan.
