Great to meet you!

I'm a Board-Certified Art Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Master of Science in Art Therapy with an emphasis in Counseling from Mount Mary University.

My professional experience includes working with autistic adolescents in public schools, providing cancer counseling in a hospital setting, and offering virtual counseling in private practice.

My background as an artist and educator informs my approach to therapy. I believe creativity is a large part of how we learn and how we can understand ourselves. I've found that navigating life's challenges often requires ongoing support, affirmation, and sometimes very different and very creative solutions.

My approach to therapy

My practice is person-centered. You really do know what you want and I can help you untangle the process to get there. We collaborate in treatment and find the steps available to live better, find joy, and accomplish what's possible. Together we'll figure out what's important to you and what may be keeping you from a better understanding of your thoughts, emotions, fears, and desires.

What you can expect from me

We can chat about your day and why you've come in. Our conversations are confidential and will last about 50 minutes. We'll collaborate on your process through therapy and you can decide how often we'll meet and the direction you'd like your experience to take.
