Great to meet you!

Hi there - I'm Lisa, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I'm so glad you're here. I've been working in the mental health field for eight years, specializing in helping adults heal from trauma and reclaim their lives. If you've been feeling pulled in a million directions or wondering where things went off track, you're not alone. I know opening up can feel intimidating, especially with someone new, but I work from a holistic, strengths-based approach to meet your unique needs. Together, we'll take it one step at a time toward the life you want and deserve.

My approach to therapy

I'm an eclectic therapist, which means I draw from a variety of approaches - like Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. I believe everyone deserves an individualized approach, because no two people's needs are exactly alike. My goal is to create a safe space where you can share openly, knowing I will listen, challenge, and support you along the way. Together, we'll find the methods that work best for you.

What you can expect from me

From our very first meeting, my focus is on understanding who you are and the goals you have - both short-term and long-term. Every counseling experience is tailored to you, whether that's through traditional talk therapy, music, art, or journaling. Together, we'll create a plan that fosters growth, resilience, and meaningful change. I also value psychoeducation, equipping you with tools and techniques you can use to navigate challenges with confidence in your daily life.
