Great to meet you!

I graduated in 2013 with my masters degree in social work. Throughout my undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate professional work, I've been involved with providing services to individuals and families struggling with or effected by substance use disorders and addiction. In most cases, as I'm sure you can imagine, the "substance use" isn't the sole "issue" a person may be struggling with; its tends to be the function of another issue such as: depression, anxiety, traumas, etc.

My approach to therapy

I believe, deeply, that it's vital to meet each person where they are at, as an individual. Each individual may be at a very different stage of change when we first meet. Treating each person with dignity, respect, and without judgement is of upmost importance in regards to building a healthy and effective therapeutic relationship.

What you can expect from me

It's a priority of mine that each individual I meet with leaves a session feeling heard, respected, and their feelings validated. We will partner together to work towards your emotional wellness goals, so there is no sense of "facing things alone".
