Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in a variety of fields (psychiatric screening, infectious disease case management, school based individual and family therapy services). I've worked successfully with individuals, couples and families, and I am a dedicated, compassionate and attentive clinician with an innate ability to connect to people.

My approach to therapy

I believe that what you think and believe about life and yourself advise your actions and therefore your outcomes. For this reason, it is essential to stop the negative self-talk and start with positive thoughts. In addition to that, I think it is very important for people to see themselves from the lens of their family of origin and take note of the repeated patterns of thinking and behavior that occur and may need to change or at least be understood.

What you can expect from me

It is my goal to help clients navigate through the wall of mounting emotions, and feelings that we all try desperately to avoid. Feelings like sadness, fear, anxiety, frustration and more. It is my desire to help clients face their concerns, gain insight, and acquire self help skills that will leave them feeling empowered and able to face whatever challenges come their way.
