Great to meet you!

I’ve worked in the human services field since 2006 and as a counselor since 2018, and I know how overwhelming it can feel to start therapy—especially if you’re dealing with anxiety, anger, substance use, grief, or the stress of everyday life. You might feel stuck in patterns that aren’t working or unsure how to cope with everything you’re carrying.

Together, we’ll focus on really understanding your experiences, building practical coping skills, processing difficult moments, and using these changes as opportunities for meaningful personal growth. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and more in control of your thoughts and emotions at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, I’ll offer both guidance and steady support as you build the skills, motivation, coping strategies, and tools you need to move toward the life you want. I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Solution Focused, and person-centered approaches to meet you where you are. Together, we’ll focus on building practical coping skills, processing difficult experiences, and helping you feel more in control of your thoughts and emotions. We’ll also spend time clarifying what truly matters to you and cultivating a sense of purpose, meaning, and satisfaction in your day-to-day life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect our first session to be a gentle starting point, not something you have to “get right.” My focus is on creating a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and not judged. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’d like to be different, and I’ll ask some questions about your history and what has or hasn’t helped before—always at a pace you’re comfortable with.
