Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Behavioral Specialist with 20 years of experience working with individuals. I have extensive work with children, adolescents, individuals, families, couples, blended families, and divorced parents.

After graduating in 2004 from Rosemont College, I worked for the top companies servicing clients before I decided to go out on my own. I have my private practice, Canopy Counseling Unlimited in Media, PA.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My counseling strength is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you feel, think, and act. I am also a certified DBT Specialist. DBT teaches people how to live in the moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others. I completed level 1 with the Gottman Method for Couple Counseling.

What you can expect from our first session

With over 20 years of experience, I have worked with many individuals with different diagnoses. My license in counseling helps focus on feelings and beliefs while my license in behavioral therapy helps focus on behaviors and environments that impede growth. I use both in my approach.

My background in mental health has given me experience in knowing that each person's needs are special and unique and that there are no "cookie-cutter" answers to solve problems.
