Great to meet you!

Something uncomfortable brought you here. You may have tried to move forward and found that something still lingers. You understand what’s going on, but it hasn’t shifted in a meaningful way. My clients come ready to do real work. I meet each person as a whole person, not as a diagnosis or as a presenting problem. I work primarily with adults and young adults, using EMDR alongside CBT and solution-focused and person-centered approaches that support real change. Our focus is on what hasn’t moved and why, so you’re not just managing symptoms but creating genuine, lasting movement forward. If you have done the talking and still do not feel free, I would love to connect.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults and young adults who have already done a lot of thinking about their lives and still feel stuck. My style is direct and collaborative. I do not do a lot of nodding and reflecting; I engage with you as a person and will tell you what I am noticing.

I use EMDR to help process what talk therapy alone has not been able to reach. Many of the things people come to therapy for are not just thoughts—they are held in the body and nervous system.

My work often centers on trauma, relational patterns, anxiety, and recovery. I work best with people who are ready to do real work and want a therapist who will do it with them.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not an intake form read back to you. I want to understand what brought you here, what you have already tried, and what feeling better actually looks like for you. I will ask direct questions, and I expect you to be honest with me, including about what has not worked in therapy before. By the end of the first session you will have a clear sense of whether we are a good fit and what working together would look like. I do not believe in spending six sessions figuring out if we should work together. We will know fairly quickly, and I will tell you what I think.
