Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience supporting adults through a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns. My clinical background includes working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, life transitions, and substance use disorders.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe clients deserve to feel heard, respected, and supported in a safe therapeutic environment. I work with clients to better understand their symptoms, identify meaningful goals, and develop a treatment plan that supports both emotional wellness and long-term stability.

I have a strong passion for helping individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to begin. I especially value working with women, young adults, and individuals navigating recovery, stress, relationship challenges, or major life changes. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-informed care that helps clients feel empowered, supported, and more confident in their path forward.

My approach to therapy

I am certified in addiction and started my career as a family nurse practitioner. As a triple-board-certified nurse practitioner, I am well-rounded in providing whole-person care that considers the connections among physical health, mental health, substance use, lifestyle, and overall well-being. My background allows me to approach each client with a broad clinical perspective while focusing on compassionate, individualized psychiatric care.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can share their story at their own pace. My goal is to understand what brings you to care, what symptoms or concerns you are experiencing, and how these challenges are affecting your daily life, relationships, work, and overall well-being.

We will review your mental health history, medical background, current medications, substance use history when relevant, and your personal goals for treatment. Together, we will begin identifying what you hope to gain from care and develop an individualized treatment plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and aligned with your needs.

Clients can expect to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care. My goal is for you to leave the first session with a clearer understanding of next steps and a sense of support, hope, and direction.
