Great to meet you!

I have been practicing Clinical Social Work for over 20 years. I earned my Masters of Social Work at Saint Louis University and have been providing individual therapy on and off since 2010. I have worked with children and parents involved in the foster care system. individuals in the community mental health setting, and individuals in the correctional environment.

My approach to therapy

I tend to specialize helping people who are in crisis or struggle with severe symptoms. I believe there is something special that happens when we share our story and become vulnerable in each others presence. I believe there is always hope no matter what situation we find ourselves in.

What you can expect from me

With the understanding that coming to therapy can be scary for some people, I try to create a very relaxed informal environment for sessions. At your first appointment, I will listen to your story, what areas of your life you are struggling with and set goals to work on. I will send you symptom inventories to complete so we can track your progress on feeling better. After each session, I will ask you to work on new skills and ways of thinking that you will report back on at your next session.
