A bit about my approach to therapy

"Integrative Functional Mental Health" means we'll use tools from several different therapy styles, finding those which work in your life. I offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which can bring relief from trauma symptoms, intrusive thoughts and feelings, and stuckness in only one session. My specialty areas: trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, integrating neurodiversity as an adult, life transitions, depression, anxiety, addictions/compulsions. I meet clients of all backgrounds with safety, transparency, mutuality, and care.

What you can expect from our first session

Our first session will clarify what's bringing you to therapy, and focus on what you are seeking to change. If you're not sure, we can figure that out together. I believe in client-centered care: your goals, needs, and experiences guide the direction of our work. My role is to support and clarify, and offer insights, tools, compassion, and solutions for your consideration. You can expect to leave sessions feeling heard and validated, empowered and invited toward growth, with practical solutions to apply to your daily life.
