Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 25 years’ experience supporting, empowering, and teaching both children and adults. I work with children and adults who have experienced traumas/adversities and difficulty managing emotions, anxiety, depression, stress, and parenting challenges. I also provide couples’ therapy for those looking to strengthen or rebuild their connection through improved communication and conflict resolution.

My approach to therapy

My approach is to create a therapeutic relationship to understand your needs, values, and desired outcomes. I assist clients in gaining insight and awareness and learning to confront and overcome adversities, to improve mood, to manage emotions & behaviors, and to improve communication and connection in relationship through evidence-based practices. Since practice makes proficient, I provide weekly activities to implement the skills learned in therapy, so they become natural and habitual.

What you can expect from me

In therapy, I work to build a connection thus creating an environment of trust and acceptance where you can talk openly and honestly without judgment. You can expect to create a team with someone who is relatable and empathetic. In cultivating your strengths, I will help you navigate through life with a new perspective and new tools to achieve peace, resilience, hope, and fulfilling relationships.
