Great to meet you!

I have a BS in Biochemistry and spent many years working in the sciences before transitioning full-time to psychotherapy. My background includes experience in both nonprofit and private practice settings, working with clients from diverse backgrounds.

I specialize in neurodiversity and am a neurodiverse-affirming therapist, supporting individuals in navigating their unique experiences. I also work with couples, including both neurodivergent and neurotypical partners, helping them build understanding and connection. In addition, I have experience working with women experiencing perinatal mood disorders and life transitions.

Beyond these areas, I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and general mental health concerns. My approach is compassionate, direct, and tailored to each client’s needs, with the goal of fostering meaningful growth and change.

My approach to therapy

I am a compassionate and affirming therapist who prioritizes making clients feel comfortable and understood. My approach is both supportive and practical. I don’t just listen, but also provide tools and strategies to help you make meaningful changes.

I use a mix of evidence-based approaches, including ACT, Gottman Method, attachment-based therapy, EMDR, RODBT, and neuroaffirming therapy. I tailor sessions to your needs, whether that’s building insight, developing coping skills, improving relationships, or working through past experiences. My goal is to create a space where you feel supported while also making real progress toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you, understand what brings you to therapy, and see if we’re a good fit. This is a time for you to share your story, ask any questions, and get a sense of how I work.

As we continue, clients can expect to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, practical tools to navigate challenges, and a sense of support and validation. My approach is both compassionate and action-oriented. I focus on helping you gain insight while also providing concrete strategies to create meaningful change.

Depending on your needs, you might take away new coping skills, improved communication in relationships, a better understanding of your emotions and patterns, or techniques to manage stress, anxiety, and life transitions. My goal is for you to feel heard, empowered, and equipped to move forward in a way that aligns with your values and goals. My working hours are 8-3 but I typically consult after 3, please reach out I would love to see how to best support you! Currently accepting a very limited number of new clients. You're welcome to schedule a consultation through Headway, though please note that my consultation availability differs from my regular session hours. I'll reach out to confirm or adjust the time before we meet
