Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Lisa Strub a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW/LCSW) with a certification in substance use treatment (SUDP/CAS). I have worked with various populations and I have a diverse background including treating people with trauma, substance use, crisis, depression, anxiety, grief and loss and relationship problems.

My approach to therapy

My clinical practice is rooted in a collaborative, integrative approach using evidenced-based treatment. The evidenced based approaches include motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Services I provide are LGBTQ+affirming and anti-racisit practices.

I believe that partnering together is the best approach to achieving treatment goals.

What you can expect from me

My clients share with me how they feel better after our sessions because they are heard, supported and not judged. They are able to get the support they need virtually. We maintain open communication in every session to build a solid therapeutic relationship. We work collaboratively together to identify and address issues.
