Great to meet you!

Every individual deserves to be genuinely heard, understood, and valued. When we face uncertainty in our relationships—whether with people, places, or things—it can trigger memories of feeling lost, unsure, and emotionally isolated.

These feelings trigger a grief reaction and block access to primary emotions and opportunities for support. In my practice, I provide guidance out of these emotionally stuck places. With accompaniment, we can move out of negative reflections into self-compassion and exploration. Life is about reaching our greatest potential at any age.

My work is collaborative. With over 20 years of training and a ton of life experience, I help my clients rediscover their authentic selves and heal experiences that have led to coping behaviors that are not aligned with who they truly are.

This therapy is referred to as relationship or attachment-based therapy. I have expertise in working with individuals, couples, and families in this attachment-based modality, and my clients come from diverse cultures, populations, life experiences, and mental health challenges.

I will help you see yourself through my eyes so that you can heal the hurt and loss inside. So, if you are ready to embark on an exciting and challenging journey into the hidden corners of your life experiences and the suppressed feelings and primary attachment needs you have put aside or lost track of to survive, please reach out.

Our journey together will help you feel hope and more clearly envision your brighter future. My approach prioritizes safety, and pacing is key. As the saying goes, the slower we go, the more we can notice and explore.

My approach to therapy

I am an Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapist (AEDP, Level III). Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) is a unique and increasingly popular form of psychotherapy that stands out due to its focus on deep emotional processing and cultivating positive, healing experiences. Unlike many other therapy models that aim to simply manage symptoms, AEDP works toward profound transformation by focusing on the client's innate capacity for resilience and healing.

AEDP integrates several psychological disciplines, including affective neuroscience, attachment theory, and body-focused approaches. This framework allows for a dynamic, non-pathologizing, and heart-centered approach to emotional health.

What you can expect from me

My passion for this work is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to be understood, without exception. The feelings of uncertainty and emotional isolation that often accompany relationship distress serve as a call to action, reminding us of confusing emotions and past hurts.

In therapy, we'll explore your attachment style—how you relate to your emotions—and help you identify your attachment needs in specific moments. Achieving attachment security is essential for feeling safe within ourselves. Self-knowledge enables us to understand how, when, and where to set boundaries effectively.

My approach is collaborative, gentle, and warm. Together, we can uncover the reasons behind disconnection and promote secure attachments. I genuinely care for my clients, guiding them to understand and express their authentic selves. Focusing on nurturing connections can pave the way for personal growth and fulfillment.

I provide objective reflections to help you observe your experiences from a safer perspective, where validation and understanding can flourish. Together, we will acknowledge and validate the factors that lead to disconnection with others.

Relationship distress often brings uncertainty and emotional isolation, emphasizing the importance of connection. I will help you navigate your way to healthier relationships and re-establish a safe bond with yourself.
