Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) in New Jersey with over 20 years of experience working with individuals affected by addiction, trauma, and emotional distress. My professional background includes supporting people at various stages of recovery, as well as those healing from difficult life experiences that continue to impact their emotional well-being.

I work with adults who feel stuck in self-defeating patterns, overwhelmed by emotions, or disconnected from themselves after years of surviving rather than truly living. Many of the clients I serve are navigating addiction or recovery, processing trauma, or seeking deeper emotional healing beyond surface-level coping strategies.

My approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and a belief that lasting change is possible when people feel safe, understood, and supported. I strive to create a space where clients can explore their experiences openly and work toward meaningful, sustainable growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and holistic. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I help clients explore the underlying patterns, experiences, and beliefs that influence their behavior and emotional responses.

Therapy with me is a partnership. We work together to increase self-awareness, build emotional regulation skills, and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Sessions are supportive, practical, and focused on long-term change rather than quick fixes.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a relaxed and supportive conversation focused on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping to change. We’ll talk about your current challenges, your history at a level that feels comfortable for you, and what support might be most helpful right now.

There is no pressure to share everything at once. The goal of the first session is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and clear about the next steps. Together, we’ll begin creating a plan that supports your healing and growth.
