Great to meet you!

I have been in practice for 20 years. I work with many individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and major life adjustments. I have specific experience in working with those who have chronic illness, pain management issues, and brain injury.

In addition to my Master of Social Work, I also hold a Master of Arts in Theology.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy draws heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also certified in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for Treatment of anxiety disorders, OCD, social anxiety and phobias.

I also incorporate themes such as gratitude and mindfulness. My approach to therapy is goal-directed; we will establish goals for our time together that you feel meet your needs and your desires for what you want to get out of therapy, and will reassess these often.

What you can expect from me

Hope. My desire is that you experience hope at the end our session. As you hold hope, as well as use the specific tools and strategies that you learn in therapy, you will be empowered to take life changing steps.
