Great to meet you!

I received my Masters in Counseling at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. I believe that nurturing your mental health is essential to sustain a grounded sense of identity, relational effectiveness, and overall well-being. Currently, my practice is focused towards young to mid-life adults interested in outpatient care for eating disorders, mood, anxiety, and challenging life transitions. My experience working with individuals, families, and groups in a variety of clinical settings has inspired my interest in working with a range of clients in various stages of life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like collaborating with clients in a warm, compassionate, and mindful style as clients share and discover new coping skills, fresh insights and personal awareness. I enjoy learning about clients through a culturally sensitive, open-minded, and person-centered lens while integrating care that feels personalized and authentic. My experience is centered in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused, and Motivational interviewing methods to assist with nervous system regulation and empower clients in noticing internal thoughts and felt sensations. If clients lean into a more creative or holistic vibe, we can definitely collaborate through art, play, and more holistic and somatic-based methods. The therapy journey is so personal through all the challenges and wins. My core intention is to remind clients I work with how truly brave they are to keep moving through therapy to find self-compassion in fresh perspective and optimal self-care systems.

What you can expect from our first session

I look forward to getting to know you through understanding your goals, and hearing unique experiences you feel safe sharing at your pace. We will use your first session to assess your expectations and collaborate on an optimal plan for where you see yourself feeling better and eventually thriving. I strive to sustain a warm and welcoming space during sessions and consistently help you approach your path in therapy with ease, mindful connection, and unconditional presence.
