Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Lisa Zamber. I graduated from the University of Hawaii in 2010. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy. I love this work, and consider it an honor and a privilege to help others. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and body dysmorphic disorder.

My approach to therapy

As a psychotherapist, I have worked with a wide range of mental health issues including Depression, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and Body Dysmorphic Disorder. I draw from a variety of theoretical orientations, including MBCT, CBT, TFCBT, and Psychodynamic Therapy. I build a genuine and trusting relationship with each client, and provide a balance of supportive and directive interventions.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel a sense of genuine care and empathy-- where you are seen, heard and supported. Developing and mastering healthy coping skills, including improving the relationship you have with your mind and body/ thoughts and feelings, is often a focus of the therapeutic work.
