Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Lisbet Verdin, LPC. I work with first-generation individuals and BIPOC communities navigating anxiety, trauma, and the weight of family and cultural expectations. You might feel stuck between who you are and who you’re expected to be, or overwhelmed by patterns that feel hard to break. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood without having to explain your experiences.

My approach to therapy

I use approaches like EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT, and client-centered therapy, but I focus most on meeting you where you are. We can work through past experiences, explore patterns that feel stuck, and find ways to cope that actually fit your life not just what “should” work.

What you can expect from me

Therapy can feel uncomfortable at times, especially in the beginning, but you won’t be doing it alone. I’ll support you at a pace that feels manageable and safe. If this sounds like what you’ve been experiencing, feel free to reach out, I’m here to support you.
