Great to meet you!

I am a Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Insightful Journeys, PLLC. I have a diverse background in community, in-home, inpatient and school-based mental health services and have worked extensively with individuals struggling to cope with anxiety, depression, trauma symptoms and schizophrenia-related disorders. I am a good fit for you if you are a young adult trying to navigate life stressors while also going through the parallel journey of learning more about your mental health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral approach to help strengthen your insight regarding your thinking patterns, behaviors and resources. I often conceptualize problems using a systems perspective because your environment and relationships directly impact your mental wellbeing.

What you can expect from our first session

I make it a priority to form positive relationships with my clients because therapeutic alliance is a major predictor of success in therapy. During our first session, I will ask you questions to help you tell as much of your story as you feel comfortable. We will then create some goals to help guide your treatment and create a foundation for progress.
