Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Lisette, a psychologist who works with adults navigating emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns, and feeling disconnected from themselves, often including high-masking, burnout, ADHD, or exploring late-diagnosed autism.

Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or even a little awkward, especially if you’re not sure what to expect. I try to make the process feel more human and less clinical.

I’m a direct therapist, which means I’ll share what I’m noticing and offer interpretations, but always in a way that feels collaborative, not overwhelming. Over time, those insights tend to become more accurate as we get to know each other.

I also believe not every therapist is the right fit, and that’s something we can be open about. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being real, while also being gently challenged in ways that help you grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach is relational and process-oriented, meaning we focus on what’s happening beneath the surface rather than following a rigid structure.

I’m less focused on checking boxes and more interested in understanding you, your patterns, your relationships, and the parts of your experience that might not be fully clear yet.

This kind of work often leads to insights you didn’t expect, which can create meaningful and lasting change. At the same time, I’ll offer guidance and direction when it’s helpful so you don’t feel lost in the process.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting a feel for each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, but there’s no pressure to have it all figured out or say things perfectly.

I’ll guide the conversation while also paying attention to how you communicate and what might be happening beneath the surface.

We’ll also check in on whether it feels like a good fit, because that matters just as much as anything else in therapy.
