Great to meet you!

Reaching out for therapy can be a significant step, and I strive to make the process feel comfortable, supportive, and free from judgment. With over 10 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor, I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and stress.

I believe that every person has strengths that can be built upon, even during difficult times. My role is to provide a safe space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and develop practical strategies for lasting change. I tailor treatment to your individual needs and goals, recognizing that no two people have the same story.

I value authenticity, compassion, and collaboration in therapy, and I work to ensure that clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the counseling process. Whether you're facing a current challenge or seeking personal growth, I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to the unique needs of each client. I believe that meaningful change occurs when clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in the treatment process.

I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed interventions. I integrate these modalities based on each client's goals, challenges, and personal strengths rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and adjustment difficulties. I also have experience helping clients process difficult life experiences, develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience.

I view therapy as a partnership. Together, we will identify your goals, explore barriers to growth, and develop practical strategies that can be applied in everyday life. While insight is important, I also focus on helping clients create meaningful, lasting changes that improve overall well-being and quality of life.

Above all, I strive to provide a compassionate and culturally responsive space where clients can feel understood, gain clarity, and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can share their concerns at their own pace. My primary goal is to get to know you as a person—not just the challenges that brought you to therapy—and to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and collaboration.

We will discuss what prompted you to seek therapy, your personal history, current stressors, strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences and gain a comprehensive picture of your emotional, behavioral, and relational well-being. There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable discussing during our first meeting.

Together, we will identify initial treatment goals and begin creating a plan that aligns with your needs and priorities. By the end of the session, clients often leave with a clearer understanding of the therapy process, a sense of direction for treatment, and the reassurance that they have a dedicated partner in their journey toward growth and healing.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead. Whether you are seeking support for a specific concern or exploring broader personal growth, I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
