Great to meet you!

Hi😊, I’m Lisney Rodriguez, MSN, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care.

🫂I believe you deserve to feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout your mental health journey. My approach combines comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, personalized medication management, patient education, and collaborative treatment planning tailored to your unique needs. I strive to create a compassionate, judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable discussing your concerns and actively participating in your care. My goal is to help you improve your mental health, enhance your daily functioning, and achieve a better overall quality of life while supporting lasting well-being and personal growth.

📚In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as a university nursing professor, where I have the privilege of mentoring and educating future nurses and healthcare professionals. As a trauma-informed provider, I have experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma, including first responders and those working in high-stress professions. My roles as both a clinician and educator allow me to bring a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care, helping individuals build resilience, gain insight, and develop the tools needed to support their mental health and overall well-being.

🗣️I am bilingual, providing services in both English and Spanish, which enables me to connect with and support individuals from diverse backgrounds.

💞My goal is to foster a warm, judgment-free space where you feel at ease, well-informed, and engaged in your care as we work together toward lasting wellness.

My approach to therapy

💪My strengths include taking the time to truly listen and understand your needs while providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. I believe in working together to create a treatment plan that feels right for you. Your safety and well-being are my priorities, and I focus on careful medication management, ongoing support, and collaboration with other healthcare providers when needed to help you achieve lasting wellness.

What you can expect from me

1️⃣ During your first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what brings you to treatment. Together, we will review your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, past treatment experiences, family history, and any relevant labs or testing.

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace. This evaluation allows me to gain a comprehensive understanding of your unique needs so that we can develop a personalized treatment plan tailored specifically to you.

By the end of our session, you will have a better understanding of your mental health concerns, potential diagnoses, and the treatment options available to support your goals. Whether treatment includes medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches, we will work collaboratively to help you achieve greater emotional well-being, improved daily functioning, and lasting progress on your mental health journey.
