Great to meet you!
I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to individuals across the lifespan. I completed both of my nursing practitioner degrees in the United States and have been practicing as an NP for the past two years.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I trained and practiced as a medical doctor in Cuba, where I graduated from medical school in 2001. This diverse clinical background allows me to approach every client with a broad, integrative understanding of physical and mental health, cultural factors, and the unique experiences each person brings. My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and patient-centered. I believe in creating a safe space where individuals feel heard, understood, and supported. Treatment plans are tailored to each client and may include medication management, psychoeducation, lifestyle recommendations, and coordination with therapists or other healthcare providers.
Above all, I am committed to helping each person improve their emotional well-being, build resilience, and achieve meaningful, sustainable change in their lives.
