Great to meet you!

Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I believe every person deserves a space where they feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where we can work together to better understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and help you achieve meaningful, lasting change.

I am a bilingual Spanish speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Forensic Psychology, with over 8 years of experience providing psychotherapy across outpatient, inpatient, crisis intervention, community mental health, and care coordination settings. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, grief, behavioral challenges, and complex mental health needs. My background also includes working with individuals experiencing crises, coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams, and advocating for clients to ensure they receive comprehensive, compassionate support.

As the founder of Bliss Community and Counseling Services LLC, I also provide forensic social work services, including forensic consultations, immigration-related psychosocial evaluations, and expert witness support when appropriate. My diverse professional background allows me to understand the many personal, family, medical, and legal factors that can affect mental health and healing.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a major life change, struggling with past trauma, or simply looking for a supportive place to grow, I am committed to meeting you with empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity. I strive to empower every client with the tools, confidence, and support needed to move forward and create a life that feels balanced, meaningful, and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and individualized because I understand that every person’s journey is unique. I integrate evidence-based interventions while tailoring treatment to your goals, values, and personal experiences. Together, we will identify practical coping strategies, increase resilience, and work toward improving your emotional well-being and overall quality of life. I draw from several therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Family Systems Therapy, and Psychoeducation. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to meet your specific needs, helping you develop healthier coping skills, build resilience, improve relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope to accomplish. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process so you know what to expect moving forward.

Together, we’ll begin identifying your strengths, discuss goals that are meaningful to you, and develop a treatment plan that fits your individual needs. My priority is helping you feel safe, comfortable, respected, and supported from the very beginning.
