Great to meet you!

II specialize in helping adults, children, and adolescents with Trauma, Chronic Illness, depression, anxiety, anger, Compassion Fatigue, adolescent/adult substance issues, and more. Helping all find support, coping skills, and other resources. When you are experiencing unique challenges let's find unique solutions. My background includes advanced training in Trauma, Addiction, Compassion Fatigue, mental health, and Illness using various modalities for comprehensive and empathetic treatment. Office sessions may include Jack and Jill: In-Training Service Dogs if you are comfortable with this. Find your path and start moving forward.

My approach to therapy

We will talk about what has/has not worked in the past and what you want for your future. There is no cookie cutter therapy here. Multiple therapy techniques like EMDR, IFS, CBT, talk therapy, and holistic mind/body therapy will help us collaborate and create a treatment plan that works for you. Helping you to find solutions and work through struggles, both past and present, allows us to walk this journey together.

What you can expect from me

Our first session focuses on getting to know each other. We will discuss your intake forms, I will explain any forms you wish, have a cup of tea or coffee (kiddos have hot chocolate or juice), and of course, meet Jack and Jill (if we meet in the office). I want you to feel at ease, decrease the challenges and fears that come with starting therapy, and begin your new journey to the future you are looking for.
