Whether you are feeling stuck with traditional talk therapy and are looking for something different or you are trying therapy for the very first time, I would be honored to walk with and support you on your journey. I am passionate about working with older teens and adults who have experienced trauma—whether in childhood or later in life— and who are curious, motivated, and willing to explore therapeutic methods they may not have tried before. If you are looking for a warm, easy-going presence in a space where you don’t have to navigate things alone, we may be a good fit!

My approach to therapy

I am an EMDR Certified therapist who integrates somatic work, parts work, canine-assisted therapy, and other experiential techniques, such as psychodrama, into my practice. I completed an extensive two-year fellowship at Riverbend Integrative Trauma Treatment, which provided me with extensive training in treating trauma, and deeply informs my integrative approach today.

My first career was in animal training, and I now incorporate this passion into my work through inviting my dogs, Bear and Ankira, to join in the therapeutic process. Bear is a one-year-old Great Pyrenees/ Husky mix and Kira is a four-year-old German Shepherd- they are very unique from one another and each have their strengths and quirks that make them who they are, both in and out of the therapy space. Their presence offers a unique and special resource for clients that is often beyond words.

What you can expect from me

My primary goal is to empower my clients to discover the healing power they carry within themselves. I find great importance in building a trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship, as I believe this is the most essential part of successful therapy. We will then explore what methods of therapy work best for you, as a unique individual. We will work together as a team, because YOU are the expert on you!
