Great to meet you!

Whether you're carrying your own weight or watching your teenager carry theirs, there comes a point where pushing through on your own stops working. I'm Liz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade in mental health, including six years as a clinician at a nonprofit working alongside young people through some of their hardest moments. I work with both adolescents and adults navigating trauma, relationship strain, and the kind of stress that quietly takes over your whole life. Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and easy to open up to.

My approach to therapy

Our work together is built around what you already have in you. I don't come in with a script; I follow your lead, and we figure it out together. For people carrying the weight of past experiences that keeps showing up in their relationships, their body, or their sense of self, we work to untangle those patterns and build something steadier in their place. Those years sitting with young people at a nonprofit through some of their darkest moments shaped the kind of therapist I am — someone who doesn't flinch and doesn't rush. This tends to work well for people who want a real, honest connection rather than a formal or clinical dynamic.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really just a conversation. We'll talk about what's going on, what you're hoping for, and what has or hasn't worked before. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions, so we can meet in whatever way works best for you. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before we start. If this sounds like the right fit, I'd love to hear from you.
